Art, Music and Drama are an integral part of the school's curriculum and are vital elements in ensuring that pupils leaving Clifton Lodge can be said to be educated, in its fullest sense. Along with sport, these subjects are often important indicators used by senior schools when selecting pupils for entry.
Art is taught in a specialist art room, equipped with natural daylight lamps and the enthusiastic specialist teachers help to develop a wide range of artistic skills - including, drawing, painting, printing and 3D modelling.
There are several concerts and a number of musical assemblies each year, organised by our music teacher who uses her own professional concert experience to great effect. All boys and girls are encouraged to participate as vocalists or instrumentalists, either as soloists or in an ensemble. Girls and boys may learn to play a number of instruments - piano, violin, guitar (acoustic or electric) and woodwind. There are two choirs that rehearse before and after school.
The Lower School produce a nativity play at the end of each autumn term whilst the Upper School have a drama production during the spring term.
