The development of reading skills are supported in Forms 1 & 2 by a dedicated classroom assistant.
Pupils requiring additional learning support, throughout the school, have individual sessions with the school's SENCO. In these lessons pupils are taught the skills required to ensure that they can be successful, independent learners in all lessons.
Pupils may be referred to the SENCO, for initial assessment, where parents and teachers feel that there is a learning issue, which requires further investigation.
