We understand that choosing the right senior school is one of the most important decisions a family will make. With extensive experience in guiding pupils through this process, we take a highly personalised approach, recognising that every child has their own strengths, aspirations and potential.
Our Head knows each pupil exceptionally well and works closely with families to identify the schools that will best suit their individual needs and ambitions. Through strong relationships with a wide range of senior schools and a deep understanding of their ethos, admissions processes and entry requirements, we provide expert guidance and support at every stage, helping families approach this important transition with confidence.
Preparing pupils for the 11+ pathway
As a prep school, we prepare and support our pupils with entrance to their preferred 11+ senior schools. Historically the most popular schools for boys leaving Clifton Lodge have been Merchant Taylors’ School, City of London Boys’ School, Hampton, The John Lyon School and St Benedict’s.
Girls leaving us in Year 6 have gained places at Notting Hill & Ealing High School, St Augustine’s Priory, St Benedict’s, Latymer Upper School, Godolphin & Latymer & Putney High.

Our careers programme is designed to inspire ambition, broaden horizons and equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed. Through a variety of meaningful careers-related activities, talks and guidance, students gain valuable insights into the world of work and the opportunities that lie ahead.
By encouraging pupils to explore their interests, strengths and aspirations, we help them build confidence in their next steps and prepare for a successful future beyond school.
