At Clifton Lodge, we are proud to be a small, nurturing prep school in Ealing for children aged 4 to 11. We describe ourselves as small with intention, as our size is one of our greatest strengths. It enables us to provide a warm, supportive environment where every child feels known, valued and secure. Combined with our strong Christian ethos, this creates the foundations for positive wellbeing, confidence and a lifelong love of learning, empowering pupils to thrive both personally and academically.

Meet Our Headmaster, Mr Michael Belsito
Since joining Clifton Lodge School as Head, Mr Belsito has brought a wealth of educational expertise, strong leadership and a genuine affinity for the school. Having begun his teaching career at Clifton Lodge, his return marked a meaningful homecoming. With significant senior leadership experience in both the state and independent sectors across Ealing, he combines a deep knowledge of local education with a commitment to nurturing confident, capable and ambitious young learners.

Facilities That Enrich Every Child's Education
Clifton Lodge is situated in a charming double-fronted Victorian building in the heart of Ealing, just a ten-minute walk from Ealing Broadway Station, providing excellent transport links via the Elizabeth, Central and District lines. Convenient pay-and-display parking is also available directly opposite the school.
Our setting combines character and tradition with facilities designed to enrich and enhance the learning experience. Pupils benefit from bright, well-equipped classrooms and a range of specialist learning spaces, including an Immersive Learning Room, STEM Lab, Science Laboratory, Art Studio and dedicated Forest School area.
Outside the classroom, our spacious playground features a covered area that provides valuable space for play, physical education, assemblies and school events throughout the year. We are also fortunate to be located opposite Walpole Park, which is regularly incorporated into our curriculum to support outdoor learning, exploration and wellbeing.

What does it take to make a film trailer? 🎥✨
Year 5 and 6 discovered exactly that during an exciting visit to Sky Up Academy.
From watching Sky News being filmed live to creating and editing their own movie trailers, pupils developed creativity, communication and teamwork skills while gaining a fascinating insight into the world of media.
An unforgettable experience that inspired big ideas and even bigger ambitions!
Lilou, Year 5 - I loved acting in our movie trailer and as my first trip at Clifton Lodge it was amazing I had never done anything like this before.
Julie, Year 6 - we learned lots of new things including the three C’s that we need to make a movie; Communication, Creativity and Collaboration.

How has it already been a week since the inaugural Blenheim U11’s Football Championships?
Team Clifton represented our school with true team spirit and pride and we couldn’t be more proud of them either. Well done to everyone who took part. 👏⚽️
✨ Creative Thinkers & Problem Solvers ✨
We are delighted to share that some of our Year 5 and 6 pupils attended the Authors Abroad – A.I.M. High Writing Day, delivered by the fantastic poet Kimba.
The children explored creative ideas, figures of speech and exciting writing techniques before developing and sharing their own poetry. Through peer feedback, editing and collaboration, they will work to Achieve, Inspire and Master their writing!
