Our Admissions Registrar supports and guides you through the entrance process, with children joining us at any time during the school year subject to places being available.
Step 1: Request a Prospectus

Step 2: Visit & Registration
Parents are invited to visit the school on an Open Day or for a pre-arranged informal tour. To book please click here. Children are registered by payment of a non-refundable £95 fee.
Step 3: Offer
Nursery & Reception classes
For entry to our Nursery (age 3+) and Reception (age 4+), places are offered during the year prior to entry to pupils who have registered at the school. Nursery and Reception children and their parents are then invited to an Induction Afternoon during the Summer Term before joining the school. (Please enquire with the Admissions Registrar if an immediate place is required during the year).
An offer of a place is secured by paying a *deposit of £950. (An additional deposit of £1,000 is charged if the pupil’s normal residence is outside of the UK).
Years 1 to 3
Years 1 to 3 pupils are invited to spend a taster morning at the school with the class that they would join and are assessed informally during their visit. Subject to a positive visit, a place may then be offered which can be secured by paying a *deposit of £950. (An additional deposit of £1,000 is charged if the pupil’s normal residence is outside of the UK).
Years 4 upwards
Older pupils visit the school for a taster day, spending the morning with the class they would join. In the afternoon, tests in English and Mathematics are set.
Subject to a positive visit, a place may then be offered which can be secured by paying a *deposit of £950. (An additional deposit of £1,000 is charged if the pupil’s normal residence is outside of the UK).
Step 4: Completion
Entry is confirmed when the acceptance documentation is returned with the *deposit, which is refundable, less any outstanding items, at the end of your child’s final term at Clifton Lodge. If a child is withdrawn after the deposit has been paid, the first term’s fees will be charged in lieu of notice. * The deposit is refundable once the pupil leaves the school unless the pupil is withdrawn at any time after entry and before the first day of the Reception Year, in which case the School will retain the Acceptance Deposit.
